Robyn E. Blumner is president and chief executive officer of the Center for Inquiry (CFI) and executive director of the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason & Science, organizations that fight for the Enlightenment values of reason, science, and a secular society.

Robyn holds a J.D. degree and, early in her career, led two state affiliates of the American Civil Liberties Union, advocating for civil liberties and civil rights before becoming a syndicated newspaper columnist and editorial writer in Florida. Robyn was executive director at the American Civil Liberties Union in Utah and then executive director of the ACLU for Florida. Robyn moved from nonprofit leadership to opinion writing in 1997 and became a columnist and editorial writer for Tampa Bay Times (formerly the St. Petersburg Times). She was syndicated in newspapers across the country and in 2012 Robyn, along with three colleagues, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing.
